Freeride Week
Klosters

One carefully designed mountain bike week from a single local base — five guided days, real local judgement on where to ride, and a flex day so the week never runs you into the ground.

7 nights · Hotel Wynegg 5 guided riding days Max. 6 riders per departure MTB or E-MTB departures Open dates — confirm on booking
Local judgement, daily

The best day depends on weather, trail condition, lift operation and how the group is riding — your guide calls it each morning.

One local base

Hotel Wynegg, Klosters — breakfast together, an easy meeting point, and somewhere relaxed to land after the ride.

Real scarcity

Maximum six riders per departure. We don't overfill a week to squeeze in one more booking.

Nothing left to plan yourself

Route, lift logistics, daily plan and accommodation are handled — you show up and ride.

Not a standard bike package

More than a hotel with a lift pass

This isn't an anonymous, heavily organised group tour, and it isn't just a hotel booking with a lift pass attached. The week is built around local knowledge, a small group, real adaptability, and a good home base in Klosters — for riders who already ride natural singletrack regularly and want more than a bucket-list itinerary fixed months in advance.

Not for: complete beginners to natural singletrack, guests who need a specific trail or vertical guaranteed, large groups with very mixed levels, or open mixing of regular MTB and E-MTB riders on the same departure.

The riding

An example week — rhythm, not a fixed route

The site can show an inspiring example programme, but the actual terrain is chosen day by day. Five guided days is a deliberate rhythm: it protects the second half of the week from burnout, gives your guide a weather buffer, and leaves room for a Premium six-day version later without hollowing out the base product.

01–03

Build into the terrain

Lift-assisted and natural trails depending on current conditions, with route planning and logistics handled by your local guide.

04

Flex day

A built-in breather that also absorbs a bad-weather day without wrecking the week's plan.

05

Closing days

The strongest terrain available for your group, chosen the morning of, based on weather and trail status.

Every guided day includes short, practical technique feedback — corners, line choice, balance, braking and position — plus a daily briefing on the plan, weather, kit and expectations, and respect for trail rules, nature and other trail users.

Is this week for you?

A concrete way to check

You already ride natural singletrack regularly, and you're comfortable with roots, loose rock, tighter corners and steeper sections, riding several days in a row. Not sure? Send a short video of yourself riding representative terrain, or book a free 15-minute Trail Match Call before you commit. If it's not quite the right fit, we'll point you to Local Guiding or a Freeride Weekend instead of selling you the wrong week.

MTB or E-MTB

Two clear departure types

Open departures run as MTB or E-MTB, not normally mixed — pace uphill, battery management, route choice and group dynamics differ too much to blend by default. A private group can request a mixed departure if the route and pace are realistic for everyone.

FAQ

Questions riders actually ask

What riding level do I need?

You should already ride natural singletrack regularly and feel comfortable with roots, loose rocks, tighter turns and steeper sections. Not suitable for complete beginners — send us a short riding video if you're unsure.

Can I join alone?

Yes. Solo riders are welcome on open departures. The standard price is based on a shared room; a single room may be available for a supplement.

Can I ride an E-MTB?

Selected departures are designed specifically for E-MTBs. Regular MTB and E-MTB riders aren't normally mixed on an open week.

Are lift tickets included?

The Signature package includes agreed lift and bike transport for the five guided days, subject to the mountain railways' operations.

Do you guarantee specific trails?

No. Routes are chosen daily based on weather, trail conditions, lift operations and group level — that flexibility is central to the experience.

What happens in bad weather?

The plan may move, shorten or shift to a more suitable area. The flex day gives the week extra room to respond. Safety and trail respect always come first.

Can I rent a bike in Klosters?

Rental can be arranged through a recommended partner once availability, bike type and setup are confirmed — not included in the standard package.

Is travel to Klosters included?

No. Travel to and from Klosters isn't included; we send a practical arrival guide after booking.

Can we book the week privately?

Yes — private weeks for two to six riders, with route, bike type, level, accommodation and price tailored to the group.

What if the minimum group isn't reached?

[CANCELLATION / MINIMUM-GROUP TERMS TO CONFIRM] — the decision date and your options (move date, private-group supplement, or refund) will be stated in the booking terms.
