Five days, one continuous line across Graubünden — from Lenzerheide to Klosters, on the trails a local guide actually chooses, not a fixed itinerary printed months in advance.

Local trail knowledge

Every section chosen by a guide who rides Graubünden year-round — including the calls that never make it onto a GPX file.

A route, not a script

The plan adapts daily to weather, snow line and trail condition, so you ride the best version of Graubünden that week.

Small groups, on purpose

Maximum six riders. Everyone gets read, paced and looked after.

Logistics fully handled

Luggage transfer, planned uplifts, a train transfer and a support driver.

Why this isn't a standard alpencross

Built around a guide's call, not a printed roadbook

Most alpine MTB traverses are built around a fixed route and a printed roadbook. You ride what's on the page, whether or not it's the best version of that trail that week.

Trans Graubünden Signature is built the other way round. The line from Lenzerheide to Klosters is real and it's ambitious — but the exact trail on any given day is a call your guide makes that morning, based on weather, snow line, and how the group is riding. This is what local guiding actually buys you: someone making the right call, every day, across five days and a Swiss canton most riders only ever see from a road.

The traverse

Six things that make this trip

01

A genuine point-to-point traverse

Not a loop, not a base camp with day rides — a continuous line across Graubünden, start to finish.

02

The Albula and Bernina by rail

A Rhaetian Railway transfer with your bike, into terrain most riders never reach under their own power in a single week.

03

Livigno, across the border

One night in Italy, reached by trail — a genuine change of scene mid-traverse.

04

A queen stage with teeth

Day 4: Passo Cassana, a planned uplift to the Flüelapass, and a long, partly technical descent into Klosters.

05

A local finale, not a filler day

The last day is ridden entirely in Freeride Klosters' home terrain — Gotschna, Parsenn, Madrisa.

06

Small group, real support

One professional MTB guide, one support driver, luggage handled — six riders maximum.

What happens if the weather is bad on a specific day?

Your guide adjusts the route — sometimes to an alternative line, occasionally to a shorter or safer option. Route flexibility is built into how this trip is designed.

Do I need my own bike, or can I rent one?

You can ride your own MTB or e-MTB, or add bike rental as an option. Let us know when you enquire.

How fit do I need to be?

Is the group size really capped at six?

Yes — one guide, one support driver, maximum six riders. We don't oversell places to fill a departure.
